Diary 82: Office Day

Yesterday, surprisingly I slept at around 12:15 am. It took me some time to finally get into deep sleep, but I did eventually. I woke up at around 7:45 am. I suddenly decided that I will go to Office today. The reason was that if the project starts tomorrow, then it will take few more weeks before which I can finally visit the new office. So, I got ready for office, had breakfast, and left with my Dad. On the way, there was heavy rainfall, but we managed to go through that, and finally reached Dad's office in Sion at around 10:10 am. I went further till Bandra station, and finally reached Andheri office at around 11:15 am. It didn't take much effort to look up the office. The only problem was that it was raining. Anyways, as expected, both Ankit and Sushma were shocked to see me. I can understand the reaction. I liked the new office. It was a bit old, but it was good enough. I didn't like the washroom, so I didn't use it at all. I met Rohit for the first time. Mukund and Sarvesh were also shocked to see me. Anyways, the work started. We all were still working on various scenarios of the problem. I and Ankit tried to solve one of those. We discussed a lot about it, and finally stuck to one plan. While I was busy in that, Akshay reminded me of the Bistro Lunch. I felt so good that someone apart from me was thinking about FeastHunt. So, I jumped into that for a while. We were supposed to have a call before that. Somehow Dallas was very busy and so he was not responding that much. Anyways, finally Dallas was free and they both went in to Bistro. I already had lunch while chatting, and then started working on the problem again. At around 4:30, Akshay informed me that the meeting was good. I was happy to hear that. So, we decided to have a call later to discuss that. So, I called them up when I left from the office. In the call, I came to know the terms and conditions of the whole business that they are proposing. Also, one of the factor that we missed was the revenue thing. So, we need to think about it. Then, I reached Bandra, and finally on the car with Dad. I reached home at around 8:45 pm, because the traffic was too much. After reaching home, I started brain storming about the revenue structure and had a small chat with Akshay too. Also, I found out that the credit card swipe machine works with telephone and not necessarily internet. So, that is a new problem now. Anyways, we may have to figure out something. Then, I wrote this post. And now, I plan to have dinner, and then sleep by around 12:30 am.  If possible, there can be one more brain storming session.

Diary 81: Some Work and FeastHunt Day

Yesterday I slept very late. I was feeling very restless, mainly because I had slept a lot in the afternoon. I was writing a book in my mind, a book about my thoughts on various aspects of life - Self knowledge, Girls, Family, Job, College Life, Business etc. I even named that book - "One Night I Stand". The name was chosen that way because the one night stand would gain attention from the book readers and also because the whole concept and the matter would be written in one night. Although thoughts were flowing in, I wanted to sleep that time because I wanted to wake up before 10:00 am. Anyways, I woke up at around 10:10 am, with a call from Ankit asking me where I am. As planned, I said that I haven't checked my mail yet, and acted surprised when I heard that the project was postponed. Well, after that, I brushed my teeth and had some breakfast. I started watching some random YouTube videos. Soon, I realized that now I don't have any Facebook updates, which felt good. Also, I had to complete the Project Scope Document for FeastHunt. So, I worked on that till the lunch time. At around 3 pm, I had lunch.After that, I moved on to do some work on the problem that we all were solving for the last week. Meanwhile, I mailed the document that I had prepared, to Akshay and Dallas. I also told them that even if I don't make it to the lunch tomorrow, please go to bistro grill for that lunch. Anyways, after that I took a bath, and reverted back to the problem again. This went on till 7 pm, when a company wide call was scheduled. The call was mostly a status call, and informed everyone about the things that each one of us is involved in. After the call, I had some snacks. Then, I and Ankit had a small internal call, where we discussed the part of the problem that I was working on. I was nearly able to do it, but something was stopping one of the transformation to not work. I tried to rectify it, but then decided to handle it tomorrow. Then, I started random browsing and came across an album link with the photos of iGames which were held in Deloitte. Our team name was Scooby Dooby Don't and we just missed the prize. Anyways, here is the link to the album. Then, I started writing this diary, and next I plan to have dinner, and then sleep early by around 12:00 am. Also, I hope that I can get Akshay and Dallas on a call at around 11. Let's see. 

Diary 80: Sleeping and Facebook Deactivation Day

Yesterday I slept at around 3:00 am. Today, I woke up at around 10:30 am. I was still feeling very sleepy. I brushed my teeth and had my breakfast. After that I just checked my mails and all, and started browsing random stuff. After that I got bored and started watching the TV. Then, I moved back again to my room and just laid down on my bed. My sister was solving Physics questions, so I was guiding her in the solutions in between. She has certainly improved but still a long way to go. Then, we had our lunch. After that, I watched the TV for a while, and then again moved back to my room to sleep. But, I was continuously pestered by my sister. She was asking me a lot of questions on Physics. Although I liked answering those but she should give her full try first. Anyways, I slept off in a while. I woke up at around 7:30 pm. I went on to check my mails and all. I realized that tonight I will start with the No Facebook week. I was going to deactivate my Facebook account. Before that I played a lot of Fruit Slasher and Pacman there. I reached a new high score on Pacman, but I am way behind Anisha and Divyansh. Anyways, I started watching YouTube videos and also downloaded the guitar pro file of the song - "Numb". I wanted the drum track of that song, for my own song - In Palko. It fits very nicely, but later I lost interest in that, as it was not sounding very good. After all this, I had some Tea and some snacks, and started playing games on Facebook again. Then, I had dinner and watched the TV for a while. After that, it was around 11:15 am, when I decided that I should deactivate the account now. So, I did that and was feeling very good already. Meanwhile, I got a shocking mail from Gil that the project that was supposed to start tomorrow, is not starting before Wednesday. I was frustrated, and he also mentioned that please come to office like normal office day. I wondered how the hell will I go. I decided that I will assume that I didn't read the mail till the morning time and then I would say that it is too late to join in. I may go on Tuesday just to show my dedication. Basically, I want work. One more thing, today we were supposed to have a conference call with the Webprint Guy but Akshay ditched it for no particular reason. After all this, I started watching YouTube videos again. Also, I found a opened Wine bottle in the refrigerator. I wonder when was it opened. I had two sips from that, and kept it as I had found it. Then, I wrote this post and now, I am planning to sleep by 1 am. I am still sleepy. Damn !

Diary 79: Lazy and FeastHunt Day

Yesterday I slept at around 4:00 am. I had a long chat with Mahak, and I even uploaded the video for "Saara Jaahan". I just used one pic for it. Anyways, Today I woke up at around 11:10 am. I was still feeling very sleepy, but controlled myself. I had nothing special to do, but I decided to check some things in JAVA- especially the thing that Mahak told me yesterday. She told me that we can use java.util.Scanner package and System.in to take input from the keyboard at run time. But I found out that the input format is ASCII, so it has to be manipulated to make it workable. After that, I relaxed a bit, and started listening to songs on my Ipod. Meanwhile, I and Akshay had many calls on the schedule on the meeting today. I told him that I have to drop off and pick up my sister from tuition, so he had to be tight on the schedule. Then, I had lunch, and watched TV for a while. After fixing the meeting with the Webprint Guy, I went off to drop off my sister to her tuition classes. As I was coming back, Akshay called up and told me that no auto is ready to go to Vikhroli and that rain has caused this mass denial. Anyways, I decided that whatever happens, I will meet the guy. So, I came back home and waited for 6 pm. I rested a bit as I was still sleepy. After that I left for the meeting. I attended the meeting, I tried to negotiate price with him and all, and it seemed that he would come down but it depends on the scope of the project. Anyways, I recorded the whole session on my IPod. So, now I can revise the whole conversation and provide a proof of the meeting that took place. Then, I went to pick up my sister. While coming back, we stopped for some food and some ice cream. We even brought some for home. After that, we all sat in one room and had a nice chat about Kota and Childhood. Then, I decided to mail the recording to both Dallas and Akshay. Then, Dallas told me that there is a potential client in Andheri. Akshay and I had a discussion regarding the whole conversation. Then, I had my dinner. I watched some TV, and then had a call with Akshay regarding the next steps. After that, I moved on to watch more YouTube videos but this time these were factual videos, so I gained something from them. Today I came to know about some new games such as SlamBall, underwater Hockey, Bossaball, Cheese roll racing etc. Not only this, I found out about various types of Vending machines in the world. There are ones which make Pizza in 3 minutes, sell cars, sell houses and what not (Anything upto 2.1 million). Well, I was writing this post also at the same time. Now, I plan to watch a few more videos like that and then sleep by 4:00 am.

Diary 78: BodoMama's promotion and More work Day

Well before I start writing about today, I would like to congratulate myself, for it the 100th post in this blog. I made it till here, let's see how far I can go. I know that nobody reads this blog, but this blog is for the future me. 

Yesterday I slept at around 2:15 am. I was trying to solve the problem for a while, but then stopped. Today I woke up at around 9:45 am. I jumped on to my work mail, and started working. I had my breakfast, and kept myself busy with work and all. At around 1 pm, I got the news that my bodomama (uncle) got a promotion. He is now a Senior Manager in Deloitte. It was quite expected given his tremendous efforts and hard work. After that, I kept on working for sometime. Then I had my lunch at around 2:40 pm. Also, I informed Akshay and Dallas that I will start with FeastHunt tomorrow, no matter what. Akshay is supposed to come down to Kharghar. Then, I started watching videos on YouTube again. I played the guitar also for a while. Then, in the late afternoon, I went on to watch the TV. I watched few shows on AXN and then watched an animation movie on HBO. Suddenly the lights went off, and we moved to my room. I started to play the acoustic guitar. Dad arrived then. He informed that there were few more bombs which were defused before they could go off. It is an unconfirmed report, but anyways. Then, the electricity was up again. I moved back to normal browsing and stuff. My sister's sir had arrived for the tuition. After the tuition, we all congratulated Bodomama for his achievement. Then, I moved back to my room and started uploading the pictures in a new Picasa Album for bodomimi and bodomama to see. It took a long time as there were so many pictures and all were high quality. Meanwhile, I had my dinner and watched TV for a while. After that, I again started watching YouTube videos. I found a new artist :Demi Lovato. She has a very strong voice. I feel that she is better than Miley or Selena or etc. Anyways, next I plan to sleep by 3:00 am. Nothing more special tonight although it is a FRIDAY NIGHT.
