Diary 87: Movie(s) and Headache day

Yesterday I slept at around 4:00 am. Today I woke up at around 11:00 am. I didn't feel good though. I was feeling very lazy, and didn't feel like doing anything. Now this reminds me of the Lazy song by Bruno Mars. Anyways, the breakfast was good, it was sambar vada. I loved it. After that I moved to my room, and started looking for more movies to watch. I decided to watch "Dhobi Ghat". Although, it has received negative reviews, somewhere I thought that I would not hate it. I started watching it, and soon realized that this movie is not for normal movie going people. It is a random movie about few people. The heroine - Monica Dogra - was awesome and sexy. I found out that she is a singer too and part of the group Shaii'r and Func. Apparently, she is quite famous. In bollywood, she has sung the song - "Dooriyan" from the movie "Break ke baad". Now, this brings me to the next movie of the day. After lunch, I started watching it. It was just OK. The songs were average too. The end was expected, and there was nothing special about the movie. Meanwhile, I was also buffering another movie - "Bad Teacher". Well, there was not much expectation from the movie at the first place. It was yet another comedy flick, an odd one and an unrealistic one too. Anyways, I had a bath today also during the afternoon, and since then my head is a workshop for freaking pain. The headache has been driving me crazy, but I continued with the movies, and even wrote this post. I guess I just need some rest. My eyes are hurting too. Next, I plan to have some dinner, and then sleep by 1:00 am. Also, one more news - India has a target of 458 against England in the first Test at lord's, and they have lost their first wicket too in form of mukund.

Diary 86: Lazy and Movie(s) Day

Yesterday I slept at around 4:20 am. I completed the movie "Kissing Cousins". It was good. Today, I woke up at around 11:30 am. I was frustrated that I woke up so late. Anyways, I had my breakfast, Tea and started browsing on net. I started watching the movie "Dil to bachcha hai ji". It was not that good. Very unnatural and unreal movie. Shruti Hassan was the only good thing in the movie. At around 2:20 pm, I had lunch, and watched the TV for a while. After that, I continued with the movie. Then, in the afternoon, I and my sister had a small fight on general issues. I even asked her few science questions on her wish, because her unit tests are starting from Monday. Then, the big fight started. My sister was promised Dominos pizza by my Dad recently, so today was that day. She asked me to order, and while we were choosing the menu, the bill closed in to 1000 Rs. I asked my sister to tell this to Mom and Dad, so that there is no issue later on. Well, as expected, Dad rejected it. He said that 1000 is too much. And then the fight started. My sister didn't eat the snacks mom made, and was very angry on Dad and also me because I told her to ask Dad. Mom later said that she was willing to pay for it on her own, and so I shouldn't have done that. Dad, on the other hand, was totally unmoved. He seemed angry but I didn't bring up the topic. I decided that I will try to bring things normal from my side. I ate the snacks, even chatted normally with Mom and sister. Dad seemed quiet, so I didn't stir any conversation with him. I had my dinner at around 10:00 am. After the dinner, I started watching videos of India Pak and India SL cricket world cup 2011 videos. I was loving it. I was just wondering how team India was able to reach the summit. I got only one answer - determination. If you are not determined, then you will not reach the destination. After that, Mahak messaged me on chat, and after some random chatting, she gave me the link to the new movie - "Chillar Party". She praised it a lot, so I decided to watch it. Well, the movie turned out to be awesome. I loved it. I will recommend it to my sister and mother. I cried a lot during the movie, not because the movie was emotional. I cried because it reminded me of my rich childhood, and the recent lack of friends in my life. This movie also had the same message - "never give up, be determined". After the movie, I told Mahak that everyone should see this movie - adult or a kid. Then, I started writing this post. Now, I plan to browse random stuffs and then sleep by 3:45 am.

Diary 85: Office and Movie(s) Day

Yesterday I slept at around 2:30 am. I faced a 72 minute limitation while watching the movie "Pyaar ka Panchnaama". Anyways, today I woke up at 8:00 am, got ready for office, ate my breakfast, and left for office with Dad. I reached office at around 11:15 am, only to find the door locked. I called up Ankit, and he said that he was outside and was on his way. During that time, I just roamed around the floor and looked at the other offices present there. It was quite a mixture of offices ranging from Motion pictures to Shipping logistics. Anyways, Ankit didn't have the key, so we both waited for Sushma. After she arrived, we started our work. I decided to work on the latest problem i.e. the DT mapper thing. I helped Ankit with the previous problem also. We were on schedule to close the previous problem. Today, I had awesome lunch - Mutton keema and puri. In the afternoon, I and Akshay got a chance to speak with Harsh on legal and registration issues. He gave us some valuable inputs. After that, I continued with the work. I couldn't concentrate fully because I was distracted by one thing or the other. At around 5:00 pm, we all decided to leave. Dad called me up, and I said that I am on my way. I reached Bandra at around 6:10 pm, and then Dad's office at around 6:30 pm. I had to wait for a while there, because Dad was busy in some meeting. After that, we left for home. There was enormous traffic, and hence we reached very late at around 8:40 pm. After that, I had some Tea. I checked my mails and all, and then started watching the "Pyaar ka Panchnama" movie again. It was just awesome. I loved it. Meanwhile, I was chatting with Mahak, and she suggested me one more movie named "Kissing Cousins"- the name itself was so nice, I decided to watch it. But, before that I just blasted at her, and said all sorts of bad things to her. This was the effect of the movie on me. It showed how girls manipulate boys into doing stuffs and then dumping. I could somehow relate to it. Anyways, Alok also  messaged me that time. He was down with Malaria, but still active on chat. We started chatting about the girls in general before I reverted back to the movie. The other movie is awesome too. I loved few scenes in there. It is still not complete, and will watch it after I write this post. Mahak, meanwhile, was getting restless as usual. She was waiting for a job interview result. I hope she gets it. Next, I plan to watch the remaining part of the movie, and then sleep by around 4:00 am.

Diary 84: Movie Day

Yesterday I slept at around 3:30 am. I watched the movie "Double Dhamaal" on YouTube. It was a very bad movie. Totally senseless, and the comedy didn't seem like comedy. Anyways, Today I woke up at around 10:30 am, with a call from Mahak. I was surprised but she told me that she couldn't talk properly last time on chat, so she called me up. Anyways, the phone got disconnected because the battery went down. After that, I brushed my teeth, checked my mails and all. Then, Mahak gave me the link to the movie "Zindadi Na Milegi dobara", and I decided to ditch my work and watch the movie. I was anyways tired with the question, so it would be a nice break. I started watching it, and started loving it also. It was a movie with which you can relate to quite easily. Three friends, going for a bachelors party trip. It sounded cliche but the story was different. It was not the all fun kind of movie. It was quite realistic with fights and tensions between friends, also the difference in mentalities even in between friends. Meanwhile, I had my breakfast and did a bit of work too. Though the devoted time was less, but it was enough to find out few more things about the problem. Anyways, I watched the movie in parts. I had lunch in between, had a long chat with my sister, and even had a call with Akshay regarding the FeastHunt. He was going to Delhi, so Today we were supposed to have a call with Harsh, but it didn't happen because Harsh was busy. During the late afternoon, I decided to watch the Test Match between India and England. The match was balanced. India got two important wickets, but England seemed strong in their batting. After that, I felt tired, so I had a quick nap for about half an hour. Then, I watched the TV for some time. Then, I came back to my room and browsed random sites. Then, I had my dinner. I got a call from Ankit that I should come to Office tomorrow so that we can finish the documentation of the problem. So, it will be Office Day tomorrow. Also, one more thing, today I faced a lot of problem with my mobile phone. It has reached its maximum capacity to handle messages. I had to delete a lot of messages to make it usable again. Well, after I write this post, I will watch the movie "Pyaar ka panchnama", again referred by Mahak. Let's see how it turns out. I plan to sleep by 2:00 am.

Diary 83: The complex DT Mapper Day

Yesterday I slept at around 3:00 am. I watched the movie - "Pirates of the Silicon Valley" on YouTube. It showed how Microsoft stole things from Apple, Xerox and some small computer company to build its own product. Today, I woke up at around 11:00 am, due to a phone call from Ankit. He told me that there is some big problem that one of the projects is facing, and we all are supposed to help in that. There was no news about the new project. Anyways, I switched on my laptop. I found out that the wireless connection is not working. I got the hint about how the day would go today. Earlier I thought that the physical switch to switch on the wireless was broken, because whatever I do, it didn't show the indication light. Later, I figured it out that the wireless adapter is not working. So, I tried to find out how to do that manually. I tweaked here and there, and reached the device manager. There I looked for wireless adapter, and enabled it. And the wireless connection was back. I was relieved. The rest of the day was more or less, I being drowned in the DT Mapper code and trying to figure out the extremely complicated schema designs. Meanwhile, I had an awesome lunch - Baingaan bharta, Roti and Pyaaz. It was heavenly. I had 7 chapatis. Anyways, I was tired of the problem in the evening, and I sent out the status mail to everyone. No body was able to solve the problems assigned. I wanted to solve it, but it was just too frustrating, mainly because the aim of the project was not known. After that, I had some Tea, and started watching YouTube videos. Then, I started making the project scope document. I edited it a bit, and then discussed a few things with Akshay. I sent a final mail to the Webprint guy with the edited copy. After that, I went for a bath. I had nothing to do after that, so I reverted back to YouTube videos. Then, I relaxed for a bit, and headed for dinner. I watched the TV for a while, and then returned to my room. As I was browsing randomly I found out that Rebecca Black has released a new song - My Moment. I was shocked to see that. I don't like the song that much but yes, her voice sounds better. I really appreciate her courage to face the world like this. The lyrics of the song say that. Anyways, I started writing the diary after that, and now I plan to browse around for a while, and then go to sleep by 12:30 am.
