Diary 102: Lots of Work Day

Yesterday I slept at around 4:30 am. I somehow managed to work that time with all the tiredness. Today, I woke up at around 12:30 pm. I got a call from Ankit, who asked me where I was and what is the present status of the code. I informed him about the updates. Then, I brushed my teeth and went online. We were supposed to integrate the code today. So, it was a case of urgency. I had most of the code, and it was tough for me to convey that to others. I somehow managed to explain Ankit through a webex meeting. There were few issues with some parts of the code, so I started looking into it. At around 2:45 pm, I had lunch. I noticed that my sister's hand was filled with friendship bands of all kinds. After lunch, I moved back to my room and continued working. Then, I started integrating the code with few of the other codes that I had. This went on till late afternoon. After that, Ankit and I had a debate on whose code should we copy into, and it was very easy to convince that it should be mine. Then, I integrated and rectified few more parts. In the end, I mailed a rough version of the project. Ankit mailed me back a version which was an edited version of the project that I had sent. I noticed some new portions in there. So, using all this as the base, I started integrating the parts again. On testing, I found some big and small errors. I was quick to identify them, and figured out a way to solve them. Ankit then complained that somehow his portion of the code is not working since I integrated. Later, Ankit found out that there was a silly mistake on his part. Anyways, after cracking my head over the issues I reached a point where the output matched the requirement. So, I started testing with more files, and then found another big issue. Before I started working on it, I had dinner and also celebrated cake cutting. Mom made a cake for Dad's birthday. After that, I reverted back to work, and continued till around 3:45 am. Then, I wrote this post, and next I plan to sleep by 4:30 am.
